At J3 Scrubs we offer the value added service of embroidery on scrub tops. We can also embroid the Scrub pants if you would like. Below is some information on how we do our embroidery

Embroidery Pricing:

Lettering (i.e Names, Titles, Designations) - R50

Logos - R50

Logo design fee - Once off Fee - 150

Do we embroider in capital letters casing? 

Our recommendation is to do all lettering in capital letter case. We can also do proper casing if required. Proper casing meaning the first letter of each word being a capital letter and the remaining being small letters. 

What do we embroider on scrubs? 

Lettering - This is names, titles, company names and anything else that you would want to embroider on your scrubs using alphabets. Lettering is done in white with the exception being white scrubs and white labcoats where we embroider in black. If you would prefer another colour please let us know

Logos - We can put your personalised business logo or university logo. There is a once of design fee of R150 for digitizing logos. Then it will just be the fee for each logo of R50 per top

Where about on the scrub top do we put the embroidery? 

Lettering is done on right chest of scrub top above the top pocket.

Logos are done on left chest of scrub top.

Logos can also be embroided on sleeves of scrub top or in the centre back of scrub tops. We can also embroider on the pants if you would like additional branding

Why are there design fees for embroidery of logo?

Expensive software is used for converting your logo in its current format to a file type that the embroidery machine can understand and use. This also takes time. Therefore a digitizing person with the correct software needs to do this 

When are design fees for logo not charged? 

If we have already digitized the logo, then we will not charge you the design fee. Message us we will let you know if we already have this logo digitized. We currently have the following logos already digitized. UKZN, DUT, KZN Department of Health, UCT, WITS & UP

Can we do embroidery on pattern scrub tops? 

Yes. We recommend putting a block around the embroidery of lettering and logos on pattern tops. This block is also known as applique. 

What if the logo and scrub top is the same colour? 

If the scrub top and logo is the same colour, then we recommend putting a different colour block underneath the logo that will make the logo stand out. 

What do we need sent to us for the logo to be digitized? 

We need a clear image of the logo emailed or please WhatsApp the logo to us.

How long does it take for embroidery to be completed? 

It can take between 1 & 3 days for embroidery to be complete.
